The Atlantean Chronicles
Welcome to The Atlantean Chronicles, the unfolding epic of a civilisation that flourished long before the rise of Pharaohs, before Babylon raised its gates, and Greek city states carved their names into the marble of history. These chronicles look back to an age when the Sahara was a green and breathing world, home to realms now buried beneath legend and sand.
Here, Sir Philippe Le Grand turns his attention to a people who have lived, fallen, risen again, and never entirely remembered their own beginnings. From time to time, fragments of a forgotten brilliance break the surface: a name, a myth, a murmur of Atlantis or Atlan’tyr. These remnants hint at a civilisation that once held the mastery of its age.
The tale follows a people who cling to their ancient roots while adapting to a world transformed by upheaval. It is the story of a shattered realm whose descendants gather the surviving shards and fashion from them a legacy that will echo through human memory. In time, this legacy becomes the Old Empire of Atlantis, the very one that Plato would one day record as a rumour from an older world.
The Chronicles recount how that first Empire rose, fractured, and evolved; how it divided into ten Atlantean kingdoms that ruled the seas and shaped their era; and how, one by one, those kingdoms fell until only a single realm endured. The Second Kingdom, branded by its rivals as the Kingdom of Traitors yet steadfast in its guardianship of the High Atlantean tongue, survived the ruin of its sister realms and set its gaze upon futures far beyond the limits of the known world.
This space is not a blog in the ordinary sense but a gathering of chapters, moments, and fragments drawn from across the long history of the Second Kingdom of Atlan’tyr. Each entry stands as a window into an age of myth, heroism, and cosmic destiny.
